Rehobeth

This weekend SuRec went to Rehobeth, Delaware. It is a wonderful beach equipped with a lively boardwalk, the best ice cream store ever, and a strong tide. We had fun talking on the beach, reading, playing in the waves, and playing beach games --- a shout out to The Better than KP and Bessey Team!!!

The weekend started great by a wonderful nighttime drive with Ryan, Kaylyn, Rob, and me. Rob had found a new artist Gavin Mikhail. We listened to Mr. Mikhail's (my new artist crush) wonderful songs "Stay" and "One of These Days" over and over again. Everyone should listen to this guy. He is inspiring and will leave you contemplating your life. As we were singing, we were blessed to drive by a fireworks show. It was one of those surreal moments in life.

We were staying at a beach home in Bethany, DE with our close friends. The activities in the beach house were wonderful. The fun was endless due to rolling ottomans, air mattress rides down the stairs, and impromptu dancing. However, my favorite times were spent in small group conversations with my friends. Something I have come to notice about myself is that as much as I love laughing out loud and having loads of fun I even more enjoy heartfelt conversations. I had many such conversations wherein everyone was completely open and honest. However, my friends have started to call me Momandy since I feel that it is my duty to keep everyone in line and safe. Friends, I can not help it. It is who I am.
Camille, Kaylyn, and me

Ryan, Matt, Matt, and Brian look mission worthy with their side parts, tucked-in shirts, and friendly smiles.

A little plaid family: Dan, me, and Peter

Genius --- riding down the stairs on a mattress!!!

Could I possibly look any cooler in my 2-picture appearance in your blog? Humility is a good thing, is it not? Thank you for helping me develop it more fully.

Thanks for being Momandy. I too had a lot of fun this weekend and particularly enjoyed those nice conversations we all had.

Bessy looks like the Godfather in the beach photo...how awesome is that?

The madras picture is everything I hoped for and more...if only you people would have stayed awake on the drive home...the conversations we could have had...
