Everything will be Great in 08!!!

3, 2, 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Welcome to 2008. Last year was a year of hard lessons and great blessings. I will take some time this week and write a more serious post regarding 2007 and my hopes for the upcoming year. However, right now I want to celebrate the coming of a new year. This means new experiences, new opportunities, and new decisions. In order to celebrate, we threw a fantastic New Years Eve party that lasted well into the new year (4 am to be exact.) Mary and I spent the beginning of the new years eve buying party supplies. We found a stupendous backdrop of Times Square and decided we would use it as a backdrop for pictures. This was a hit!!! As people came to the party, we would take their pictures - either solo or prom style.
Me and Mary toasting
Ben, me , Trent, Mary, and Eric all ring in the new year -- please be advised that we were toasting with Martinelli's sparkling cider

We had tasty fondue that was coupled well with our 18 bottles of Martinelli's. Mary, a creative genius, choreographed a new dance for 2008. Some of us formed a line and performed the dance. Then we all counted down to midnight and then celebrated with hugs (no kissing - unbelievable.) Then came my favorite activity of the evening. For the past two years we have had a best and worst of the previous year. We all read and voted on the Best and Worst of 2007.
